DO YOU OFFER GROUP THERAPY?
Yes. There are different groups offered at different times of the year pending on availability and client interest. Please email me directly or check my instagram for the latest update(s) on group offerings (@empoweredtherapycle). Groups are available at self-pay rate only.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
It is normal for each therapy session to vary in length depending on context, material, client needs, and therapeutic goals. Your initial session will be anywhere from 60-75 minutes. Each individual session after the intake will go from 45-50 minutes. 90 minute sessions are available at self-pay only rate upon request.

WHAT IS EMDR?
EMDR or Eye movement desensitization reprocessing, is an evidence-based therapeutic modality developed by Francine Shapiro. EMDR therapy is based on the idea that negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are the result with unprocessed memories. Therapists utilize audio tones, tactile tappers. and/or self-tapping to activate bilateral stimulation (stimulating one side of the brain at a time). HOW DO I KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT TREATMENT FOR ME IS?
Something we say a lot as therapists is the phase, "it depends". That being said we will co-create and collaborate on your treatment to address your specific goals. There is no 'one size fits all' approach to therapy. I take great pride in tailoring therapeutic modalities as needed to fully engage and support my clients.
